Chris Allaire

President "Don't ask 'why', ask 'why not?'" Chris is an entrepreneur, pilot, avid golfer, pretty awesome cook, crab cake connoisseur, guitar player, and a proud husband and father.

When Chris isn’t playing with his 2 daughters or traveling with his incredible wife, he is recruiting for Open Source Engineers in New York City. His love for recruiting stands just shy of his love for the Boston Red Sox. Chris has almost 20 years of recruiting and staffing experience on a National level with over 10 years in New York City, both contract and full time.

Chris has an impeccable reputation within technology recruiting in New York, NY.  He started Averity from his dining room table in 2014 with a dream to pioneer a change in an industry.  He knows that looking for the best opportunity and hiring the right person is more than an application and a resume. The hiring and interviewing process can be time consuming and tolling, which requires a trusted source to aid in communication, screening, preparation, scheduling, and feedback. He combines these beliefs with a work environment where people know they are valued and honored, creating one of the best places in Manhattan to work for. At Averity, he leads a true culture of service.

Matt Stabile

Data Science and Engineering Team Manager "I love working in the quickly growing and fast-changing New York City Data Science world." As the Manager of the Data Science and Engineering recruitment team at Averity, Matt's division specializes in the areas of Data Science, Data Engineering, Big Data (and Big, Big Data), Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, AI, Business Intelligence and Web Analytics.

Matt has been at Averity since the beginning. He started off recruiting for back-end engineers before founding the Data Science and Engineering team. The team has emerged as the premiere division in New York City focused on Data Science and Data engineering roles with the country's largest and most prominent data science divisions. Their specialty is experienced Data Scientists with stellar academic backgrounds, and Data Engineers working with the latest in data engineering technologies.

After graduating with a degree in Political Science from UConn in 2003 and degree in Law from Penn State in 2006, Matt moved to New York in 2007. Since then, Matt has spent the last decade traveling the world and documenting his travels on his travel blog, The Expeditioner. Always up for a challenge, Matt has recently taken up golf and is now the father of a boisterous Golden Retriever.

Alex Dubovoy

Manager DevOps and Infrastructure Team "Treat all of your clients like they are your only client." Alex manages Averity's DevOps and Infrastructure Team. He has been in the tech recruiting space in NYC for 20 years. For the past 10 years, Alex has been recruiting exclusively in the infrastructure space, and over the past 3 years,  DevOps had become his specialty.  Alex is known for taking the time to get to know people and building great relationships over the years with both clients and candidates.

Alex is also the father of 3 amazing kids ages 9, 7, & 3. For fun he plays lead guitar in several bands. He's been a touring musician and he still plays shows as much as possible. He ran a hard rock radio show for years that had a descent following and even worked for Epic Records.

Patrick Koehl

Lead Talent Advocate DevOps and Infrastructure Team "In life, the glass is half full; if it's empty it's time to order another." Patrick is a former collegiate athlete who enjoys and active and outgoing lifestyle. As an avid fisherman and snowboarder, he can be found making trips to the beach in the summer and out west in the winter. He strives to push himself and excel in every aspect of his life. Whether it is completing an ironman, mastering a new fishing technique, or finding the perfect candidate for placement, Patrick works hard to break down barriers and accomplish goals.

Patrick joins Averity after five years of corporate finance within Prudential. He is excited to be part of the growing and successful team!

Jordan Fine

Talent Advocate (Data Science and Engineering) "For me, life is continuously being hungry. The meaning of life is not simply to exist, to survive, but to move ahead, to go up, to achieve, to conquer." -Arnold Schwarzenegger Jordan has spent a year and half in technical recruiting, focusing primarily in the data and analytics space.

Jordan grew up in northern Westchester, where he still visits frequently. He graduated from SUNY Albany with a BA in Journalism with minors in Business and Informatics, and has been living in NYC since 2012.

In his spare time, Jordan enjoys watching his favorite New York sports teams including the Jets, Yankees, Knicks, and Rangers. He loves traveling, especially to the Midwest to go snowboarding. He has become a foodie lately with the many options available where he currently lives in Brooklyn. Don’t get him started on pro wrestling, video games, or heavy metal, he’ll talk your ear off!

John Birchall

Talent Advocate (Data Science and Engineering) "Everybody Love Everybody!" John was born and raised across the pond in the UK and is very proud of his homeland heritage. John spent 10 years in the professional sports industry before joining Averity. He is a massive Liverpool FC fan who still can't quite get his head around that he has to call it soccer instead of football.

If John isn't watching the beautiful game you can probably find him playing it in the Cosmopolitan Soccer League for Manhattan Celtic Legends, and will tell anyone who wants to know how they clinched the league and cup double in his first season back playing from a long overdue hiatus.

John is an 80's kid and loves anything and everything associated with it, from Prince before he turned into a symbol to David Bowie portraying the Goblin King in Labyrinth. John lives by the words of the famous philosopher Jackie Moon: "Everybody Love Everybody!"

As a member of the Data Science and Engineering team at Averity, John focuses on placements in Data Science and Data Engineering.

Daniel Wellner

Talent Advocate (DevOps and Engineering) “A Leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way”

Originally from Indianapolis, Daniel attended Indiana University and is a huge Hoosier, Colts, and Pacers fan. In his spare time he loves to watch movies, take trips to the beach, eat great food and spend time with friends and family.

He is a Midwesterner at heart that has been living in New York City since 2012. Working as a DevOps specialist recruiter he believes that giving 100% to every client is the bare minimum, and he truly values the relationships he builds in his business life.

Catherine Kellogg

Khaleesi "I want to live in a world where spreadsheets fill themselves, pizza is nutritious and fat burning, and Game of Thrones seasons are 20 episodes long.” Catherine comes to Averity after working in Operations for She Creates Change, a life coaching organization, and recruiting for several different technology staffing firms. As the Khaleesi of Averity, Catherine keeps the team running by managing systems and handling all back-office operations. When she's not working, you can find her playing around in Central Park with her new rescue puppy, participating in scavenger hunts, obtaining new stamps in her passport, lost in her Kindle, or entertaining the crowd at the nearest Karaoke bar. Catherine is excited to be part of the team that is building Averity and can't wait to see what's to come!
