Stephanie's Women History Month Post

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”
– Eleanor Roosevelt

"Women's History Month, although it should be every month, is a great time to recognize & show love to the women that have inspired you. It's time we empower each other and support our siSTAR's, because when we do, incredible things do happen! Supporting another Woman's success won't dampen your own. We already know we have everything that we need within ourselves. Here at Averity we have each other's backs, not just us Women, but the Men we work with as well. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be a part of a company that treats all their employees with equal respect & opportunities." We thrive on holding inclusion & diversity high in achieving our goals in the NYC Technology Recruiting Industry, as the Future is Female <3 "

“Once you can express yourself, you can tell the world what you want from it. ... All the changes in the world, for good or evil, were first brought about by words.” - Jackie Onassis

"Jackie O was probably one of the most unassuming, humble people I've seen in the spotlight internationally. She has always inspired me to embrace my strengths and not back down because of gender expectations or norms. Even after suffering numerous tragedies - Jackie made sure that she continued to contribute to what she could to our country long after being First Lady. Something most women at that time would not have attempted.

In prior jobs I wasn’t allowed to visit my candidates or clients without a manager, because I was female. Here at Averity, I'm ENCOURAGED to! I've never been held to any standard that felt uncomfortable, or unequal to anyone else. Thank you to the incredible team I work with for encouraging me to embrace who I am, and know I am respected by my colleagues for the strengths and insights I possess, and the experience I bring to the table."
